Theft of Donkeys and Horses in Burrolandia Shocks Everyone

In the State of Mexico, in the municipality of Otumba de Gómez Farías, there is Burrolandia, a refuge dedicated to the care of donkeys, horses, and other animals. This place is not only a space for the protection of these animals, but it also serves as a thematic center to receive visitors and generate income to support the animals that reside there.

Unfortunately, Burrolandia recently suffered a theft by unknown individuals, who took three donkeys and three horses, causing alarm in the community and generating strong rejection on social media and in public opinion. Raúl Flores, the person in charge of the refuge, reported the disappearance of the animals, identified as Felipe, Canelita, Julieta, Spirit, Vikina, and Lucero.

According to Flores' testimony, the criminals accessed the stables by making a hole, and, unfortunately, bloodstains were found at the scene, suggesting that the animals may have been taken violently. In light of this situation, a call was made to the citizens to help in the search and recovery of the donkeys and horses, as the reason for the theft is unknown.

Prominent figures such as journalist Francisco Zea, as well as C4 Jiménez and Ricardo Salinas Pliego, have strongly condemned this criminal act and joined the request for help to find the missing animals. Both in the media and on social media, the importance of protecting animals and collaborating for their prompt recovery has been emphasized.
