New Prefabricated Houses Offer Sustainable Solution in Mexico

In Mexico, prefabricated houses have emerged as a modern, efficient, and sustainable alternative to the excessive rise in housing prices and high rental rates. Recently, GEO Real Estate unveiled its first models of prefabricated houses, promoting them as a new way to have the house of your dreams.

GEO's prefabricated houses are characterized by a futuristic design in "capsule" style, with rounded glass, quality finishes, and even an electronic lock. Additionally, they come with a fully equipped bathroom, curtains with an electric motion system, and a central electrical installation from which lights and fans can be controlled.

The company also highlights financing plans to facilitate the acquisition of these homes. However, the exact price was not specified. On the other hand, at the end of 2024, prefabricated houses of the Vessel brand were introduced, as part of a multi-million investment in Pesquería, Nuevo León. These smart and sustainable houses offer a high level of comfort and can adapt to different uses, from accommodation to housing.

Vessel houses are noted for their capsule design and functionality, even being usable as Airbnb accommodations. These homes feature well-distributed spaces, air conditioning, panoramic windows, and electronic roofs that can be opened via remote control. All these proposals aim to offer innovative and accessible housing solutions in a context marked by the difficulty of accessing one’s own home in Mexico.
