In turn, the Secretary of Tourism, Carla López-Malo, emphasized that these types of events are part of the prelude to the 2026 World Cup, which will represent an important cultural and tourist platform. She indicated that during the 39 days of the world tournament, the arrival of more than 300,000 additional visitors is expected, which will detonate intense economic activity in the state. Meanwhile, Rommel Pacheco Marrufo assured that Puebla "is already in the World Cup", by highlighting the organization of previous tournaments such as the Conade Cup, the School Cup, and competitions aimed at different sectors, including the elderly and workers.
