A tourist lost his life on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, after participating in a recreational activity known as a "banana boat" ride, one of the most popular water attractions in the destination.
The incident occurred during a family trip, which caused shock among those who witnessed the event. According to the first reports, the victim was a 59-year-old man from León, Guanajuato, who was on vacation with his family.
How the incident happened on the beach The man had participated in a ride on an inflatable "banana" boat, which is pulled by a motorboat and is usually one of the most requested activities by tourists. After finishing the ride and getting off the attraction, the tourist walked a few meters on the beach; however, he started to feel unwell and suddenly collapsed, which immediately alarmed his relatives and other visitors in the area.
