Querétaro Launches Anti-Corruption Program

The State Anti-Corruption System (SEA) and the CANACINTRA Querétaro Delegation have joined forces to promote the "Anti-Corruption Companies" program in the state. The initiative aims to train approximately 600 companies in the fight against corruption, promoting a culture of integrity and transparency in the sector.

Alfredo Sahagún Sánchez, president of the chamber, highlighted the importance of this program that will allow entrepreneurs to be protagonists in actions that promote transparency in all aspects of the administrative process. During his management, he has emphasized promoting access to information, data protection, and accountability, also acknowledging that corruption is one of the main problems of the country.

In this sense, Sahagún Sánchez emphasized the need to address corruption from a cultural and comprehensive perspective. The "Anti-Corruption Companies" program will provide a space to know and discuss strategies that contribute to preventing, detecting, and pursuing acts of corruption, in order to foster ethical practices in the business sector.

Benjamín Vargas Salazar, a prosecutor specializing in the Fight Against Corruption, highlighted that Querétaro is a national example in the fight against this crime. He noted that the state has been recognized for the absence of observations in the budgetary exercise, demonstrating the commitment of local authorities to combat corruption effectively.
