Important sports events have taken place at Parque Querétaro 2000, such as the National Children's and Youth Volleyball Championship in 2022, as well as the CONADEIP National Beach Volleyball Championship in 2024. This venue has hosted competitions at the national level, being the site of significant tournaments for the development of sports in the region.

The Sports and Recreation Institute of the State of Querétaro (INDEREQ), together with the Querétaro Beach Volleyball Association, successfully completed the selection process for the 12 athletes who will represent the state in the Macroregional phase leading up to the CONADE Nationals 2025.

During the tournament, a total of 52 matches were held at the Parque Querétaro 2000 facilities, with the participation of teams representing 12 states of the Mexican Republic. The Querétaro team managed to win four medals in the mini female and male categories, achieving a remarkable performance that resulted in the first medal for Querétaro in national beach volleyball.

Beach volleyball has experienced notable growth in the state in recent years, attracting the participation of athletes from various municipalities such as San Juan del Río, Amealco de Bonfil, and Jalpan de Serra. The matches were held in three categories: youth minor, youth major, and youth superior, in both female and male branches.

In the youth superior category, the duo formed by Manuel García and Gabriel Castillejos secured a bronze medal at the 2024 CONADE Nationals held in Campeche, highlighting the talent and effort of local athletes in high-level competitions. The Macroregional phase is scheduled to take place in March, with the venue for the upcoming competition yet to be determined.
