Videos spread on social media show councilwoman Rosa María Huerta Valdez, from Rioverde, San Luis Potosí, at a celebration inside a government office with an entertainer who performed a striptease for her. In the clip, originally dated February 20, the official from the Green Party is seen sitting at her desk while a dancer, identified as a local comedian, enters the room in tight clothing and a police cap to perform a dance routine in front of her. The councilwoman laughs, gets up from her desk, and begins dancing closely with the man. The Secretary of Government of San Luis Potosí, José Guadalupe Torres Sánchez, called on Tuesday for restraint and responsibility in public service. The leadership of the Mexican Green Ecologist Party has also not issued a statement.
