Santiago Jr Flores Guajardo and Indra Nabila Ibarra were reported missing in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo León. Authorities have issued search alerts due to the increase in disappearances in the region.


Two Young People Disappear in Nuevo León

A young American man and a Mexican woman traveling together in a vehicle in Nuevo León have been reported missing, according to the state Attorney General's Office on Wednesday. The missing individuals have been identified as 27-year-old Santiago Jr Flores Guajardo and 25-year-old Indra Nabila Ibarra Corrales.

Both young people were last seen last Sunday at the Sabinas Hidalgo town hall, at a toll booth, driving a gray Toyota Corolla with license plates RXC-135-B from Nuevo León.

Santiago is described as having fair skin, dark brown eyes, a straight nose, a medium mouth, regular lips, 1.60 meters tall and slim build. Among his distinctive features, he has a jellyfish tattoo on one ankle, the name 'Dora' on one leg, and the number 1997. For her part, Indra has long, straight red hair, fair skin, dark brown eyes, a medium and upturned nose, a medium mouth, regular lips, 1.65 meters tall and a regular build.

On the day of his disappearance, Santiago was wearing a navy blue shirt with red letters and black pants.

In recent years, the municipality of Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo León, has seen an increase in the disappearance of young people. The area is known for the Monterrey-Laredo highway as the 'Bermuda Triangle' or 'the highway of terror' due to the cases of disappearances that have been reported on that road.
