In Nuevo León, in addition to Las Abejas, various properties with concerning characteristics have been identified, such as La Grutas and Los Arcos in García, La Carbonera in Sabinas Hidalgo, and Vallecillos in Juárez, where approximately 900,000 human remains are estimated to be present. Meanwhile, in Coahuila, at least eight 'death camps' have been located, according to information provided by Silvia Ortiz, a member of the collective Grupo Vida. Since 2010, dozens of sites with disturbing similarities have been found in the region.

A report from the organization Fuerzas Unidas por Nuestros Desaparecidos in Nuevo León suggests that by 2021, there were more than 100 death camps across the country, seven of which are located in Nuevo León. Notable cases include La Bartolina in Matamoros, Tamaulipas; Patrocinio in Coahuila; Moctezuma in San Luis Potosí; La Gallera in Tihuatlán, Veracruz, and Las Abejas in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León.

Recently, a group of relatives of the disappeared revealed the discovery of a new death camp in Tamaulipas, where 14 points with burned human remains, personal belongings, and evidence of extreme violence were found. This terrible revelation came shortly after the discovery of a ranch in Teuchitlán, Jalisco, with remains and belongings of about 400 people.

The finding in Tamaulipas occurred thanks to an anonymous phone call that alerted the members of the collective Amor por los Desaparecidos. The group, along with the relevant authorities, went to the location in Colinas del Real, very close to the exit to Monterrey, where the macabre remains were located. Among the objects found were a rosary, a buckle featuring two guns, tactical gear, and spent casings.

These terrible discoveries are not isolated cases, as there are at least 27 locations with indications of human remains, of which eight are considered death camps due to the terrible condition in which the bodies are found. These places were under the control of groups such as the Gulf Cartel, Los Zetas, and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, with La Bartolina in Tamaulipas being a macabre example where around half a ton of human remains have been found since 2016.
