On another note, the tropical storm 'Kristy', which could develop into a hurricane during the day, will bring heavy rains to western Mexico, according to reports from the National Meteorological Service (SMN). The storm is expected to produce very intense rainfall of 50 to 75 millimeters in Jalisco, as well as heavy precipitation in Colima, Michoacán, and Nayarit. Additionally, winds with gusts of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour and waves of 1 to 3 meters are forecast in certain coastal areas.
According to reports, the storm 'Kristy' is currently located 500 kilometers south-southwest of Punta San Telmo, Michoacán, and 650 kilometers west-southwest of Acapulco, Guerrero.
