Tragic Shooting in San Miguel de Allende

Elaine "N" had reported her brother for threats and assaults, accumulating at least 10 investigation files against him, but the Attorney General's Office did not act until the woman suffered an armed attack last Friday, from which she survived.

The mayor of San Miguel de Allende, Mauricio Trejo Pureco, expressed his dismay at the outcome of the operation and stated: "I am informed that in the detention of Alan 'N', who shot his sister on Friday and was captured this morning, along with the injured agents, there is, very, very regrettably, the death of a minor."

On Tuesday morning, an operation by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Guanajuato in San Miguel de Allende resulted in a shooting that left a minor dead and two investigative agents injured.

The confrontation originated when authorities attempted to arrest Alan "N", accused of attempted femicide against his sister, Elaine "N". The suspect resisted arrest and opened fire on the agents, injuring two of them: one seriously and another in stable condition.

In response to the aggression, elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat of San Miguel de Allende intervened to assist the Attorney General's Office. The pursuit extended along the road to Dolores Hidalgo, ending at the La Joya Hospital, where the suspect and another individual, presumably his bodyguard, were arrested.

During the shooting, Alan "N"'s daughter was injured and died while being transported for medical attention. "Investigations are ongoing," commented the mayor.

La Joya Hospital is being guarded by state and federal security forces, while authorities have assured that the case will be investigated with complete transparency. The Attorney General's Office stated that the accused jeopardized his family's safety.

The dispute between the siblings had intensified over the inheritance of the hot spring resort "Escondido Place".
