The influencer and content creator Kunno reported being the victim of a homophobic assault on the night of Thursday, April 17, outside a club in the municipality of San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León. Through his social media, the Monterrey native shared his testimony, visibly affected, recounting how he was physically and verbally attacked by three men while trying to return home.

Upon leaving the establishment, Kunno noticed the presence of three men who began to insult him with homophobic phrases. The assailants not only pursued him, but one of them managed to reach him and punched him in the face, causing a minor injury. Kunno was able to escape before the situation worsened, despite initially believing it was a joke due to his habit of using humor as a defense.

In his Instagram stories, Kunno shared how the men harassed him with homophobic insults like 'pu**' and 'jo**', a situation that led him to react with fear and confusion. Despite managing to escape, he felt deeply affected and troubled by the assault. Upon returning home, he felt desolate and overwhelmed by the situation, taking refuge in the bathroom to cry.

The influencer lamented the incident, expressing his surprise and disappointment over what happened in a city he believed was safe. He called for reflection and respect towards the LGBTQ+ community, reminding that no one should feel unsafe for being who they are.
