The Public Security Secretariat of the municipality of San Pedro will carry out an evaluation of the working conditions and welfare of the police through a dialogue and direct listening exercise with the agents. During working sessions and surveys, the police expressed their interest in improving their capabilities to provide better service to the San Pedro community.
In the working sessions, Police and Traffic agents actively participated and later completed a survey from their mobile phones, having the opportunity to give their opinion anonymously. There was special emphasis on fulfilling previous promises regarding labor benefits, such as Infonavit and medical services, as well as suggestions to improve the work environment, renew work units, enhance facilities, and have the appropriate tools to perform their daily tasks.
The importance of addressing these needs to promote a more equitable and efficient work environment within the corporation was highlighted, which will ultimately result in improved service to the population.
