At the bus terminal in Santiago Pinotepa Nacional, a clash was recorded that left three people dead, including a municipal police officer and a member of the Navy who were attacked by an armed man. The Attorney General's Office of the State of Oaxaca reported that the attacker was killed during the assault.

The incident occurred early last Saturday when the armed man tried to rob people at the bus terminal with a sharp weapon. The municipal police intervened but were attacked, leading to the involvement of Navy personnel, who were also met with gunfire. As a result, one municipal officer and one from the Navy lost their lives.

Security forces implemented a tactical deployment to neutralize the attacker and protect the civilians present at the scene. The Attorney General's Office of the State of Oaxaca, the State Police of the SSPC, the Navy, and the National Guard have reinforced an operation to ensure safety in the area and prevent future incidents.
