The Attorney General's Office of the State of Chiapas, together with the Attorney General's Office of the State of Tabasco, executed an arrest warrant against Cabrero 'N', known as 'El Cabra', in the City of Tabasco. The detention was confirmed by Chiapas Governor, Eduardo Ramírez, who emphasized the importance of coordination between different agencies for success in security matters.

The apprehension of 'El Cabra' was carried out in the context of alleged crimes of forced disappearance, extortion, robbery with violence and aggravated robbery, as well as qualified injuries, which were reportedly committed in the community of Frontera Corozal, Ocosingo, Chiapas. Additionally, this individual had an active search warrant issued by the Chiapas state attorney's office, which offered a reward of half a million pesos for information that would assist in his location and apprehension.

On the other hand, the Attorney General's Office of the Republic (FGR) has open investigations related to common law crimes, including kidnapping and organized crime in the Lacandon jungle area. It is worth mentioning that local media previously reported that 'El Cabra' had managed to evade authorities during an operation in the community of Lacanjá Chansayab and other towns in Ocosingo.
