The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) has officially announced the start of the mobilization, providing alternative routes for drivers such as Avenida Nacional, Circuito Exterior Mexiquense, and Vía Morelos. Users are advised to anticipate their trips and travel times due to this demonstration on the highway.
On the night of Tuesday, February 25, neighbors and residents of Tecamac closed the Mexico-Pachuca highway, according to a statement circulated on social media. The group of residents demands intervention from the authorities due to the control exercised by unidentified civilians at the main access since last Friday. The situation began with a Board supposedly authorized by the Municipality, preventing the security hired by the community from doing their job.
The statement announced the start of the demonstration at 06:00 in the morning from the Chedraui in Ojo de Agua. During the morning of Wednesday, February 26, the mobilization started with the arrival of protesters from Tecamac.
