In Temoac, Morelos, the municipal treasurer, Andrea Angelina ‘N’, was arrested along with three young men who allegedly belong to the criminal group known as 'Los Aparicio' or 'Los Huazulcos'. This group is accused of extortion, kidnapping, and murders in the eastern area of Morelos. The detention of these individuals took place as a result of a joint operation between federal and state forces last Tuesday.

The state attorney, Uriel Carmona Gándara, reported that Andrea Angelina, 49 years old, was detained along with three young men: Adrián ‘N’ (18 years old), Édgar ‘N’ (22 years old), and Moisés ‘N’ (22 years old). These individuals were captured in the Barrio de San Juan, Huazulco. Authorities link them to crimes such as drug dealing, extortion, homicide, and kidnapping in several municipalities of the region, including Jantetelco, Jonacatepec, Ocuituco, Temoac, Tetela del Volcán, and Zacualpan de Amilpas.

Andrea Zamora, alias 'La Patrona' or 'La Jefa', is identified as the leader of this criminal organization. Among the confiscated items were various firearms, cell phones, as well as doses of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana. The Attorney's Office called on citizens to provide any relevant information that may help clarify the facts.

The detainees will face justice in the coming hours to determine their legal situation. The Attorney's Office reiterated its commitment to closely collaborate with federal and state authorities in the fight against crime in the region.
