A fire in a house in the Prieto Crispín neighborhood of Tepic resulted in the death of three people, reported the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) of the state. According to the report received through the emergency line 911, the fire occurred at the residence located at Lucio Cabañas 405. Elements of the Nayarit Fire Department, State Police, and Municipal Police arrived at the scene to control and extinguish the flames.

After inspecting the house, it was discovered that cardboard and other various materials were stored in the place. Once the fire was extinguished, a search was carried out inside, where the bodies of three people were found in different areas of the house. The victims are a 54-year-old woman, another 24-year-old woman, and a 68-year-old man.

The State Attorney General's Office has begun procedures to recover the bodies and clarify the events, as the causes of the fire are still unknown. It was reported that, in addition to the deceased individuals, four others were being searched for, including three minors, but they were outside the house. The three children, along with their mother, spent the night at their maternal grandparents' house, which saved their lives in the tragic event in which their aunt and paternal grandparents lost theirs.
