The new Distribution Center of Grupo Coppel in Texcoco will create more than a thousand jobs and improve service to 14 million customers in several states.

Grupo Coppel has inaugurated its largest Regional Distribution Center in the municipality of Texcoco, State of Mexico, as part of an investment exceeding 1.2 billion pesos. This facility, characterized by its cutting-edge technology, aims to be 25% more productive than traditional centers and will generate more than 1,000 jobs in the region.

During the inauguration ceremony, Agustín Coppel Luken, CEO and president of Grupo Coppel, highlighted the importance of the Distribution Center by mentioning that it will improve service efficiency to over 14 million customers, reducing home delivery times and expanding the product offering for e-commerce.

The CEDIS in Texcoco will occupy an area of 124,000 square meters and will have the capacity to supply more than 225,000 products daily to 235 stores located in 35 cities across seven states of the country. Additionally, due to its focus on sustainability, it will have 917 solar panels to generate its own energy, the capacity to recycle more than 1,350 tons of waste, and a rainwater treatment system for efficient water usage.

The governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, emphasized that this Distribution Center will not only bring economic benefits to the region but will also contribute to the generation of more than 1,000 formal jobs. In the governor's words, the CEDIS in Texcoco represents a directional change for the people of Mexico State, strengthening investment and creating opportunities for development with social justice in the area.
