Through social media, Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente announced the removal of Osorio, after he only managed to accumulate seven points in 11 matches, leaving the team at the bottom of the overall table with few chances of qualifying for the Play-In.
The club thanked Osorio and his coaching staff for their professionalism and work during their time at the institution, highlighting the return to the playoff phase of Mexican football.
"It is important to mention that many fans considered that despite the poor results in the current campaign, the project of the former National Team Coach should continue due to the achievements obtained in the Apertura 2024, where they reached the semifinals," they expressed.
The numbers of Juan Carlos Osorio reveal that in 34 matches coached with Xolos, the strategist only achieved 12 victories, drew 6 times, and lost 16 matches. This has been the fifth process cut short in the current season in Liga MX.
