A new discovery of bodies has once again shaken Guerrero. State authorities confirmed on Tuesday the discovery of seven dismembered bodies on the Tlapa-Olinalá highway, in the Montaña region of Guerrero, which mobilized security corporations and ministerial personnel. According to police reports, the incident was reported around 5:00 PM on Tuesday at the intersection leading to the municipality of Cualac, where human remains were found scattered. Armed men leave bodies on Guerrero highway. At the same location, black plastic boxes, a large aluminum pot, and black bags were also found, which were presumably used to transport the bodies, according to images circulated on social networks. Area residents and motorists told authorities that they saw armed men throwing human remains from a vehicle. Elements from various corporations, as well as experts from the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), went to the scene, who confirmed that they were seven male victims, all decapitated and dismembered. During the proceedings, vehicular traffic was partially restricted to allow authorities to work. Subsequently, the remains were transferred to the municipal seat of Tlapa for the corresponding legal procedures. So far, the identity of the victims has not been released, nor have possible lines of investigation into this event been informed.
