Journalist Jorge Becerril reported that a case of baby abandonment occurred again in the municipality of Tultitlán, State of Mexico. On this occasion, a minor was arrested for her alleged responsibility in the abandonment of the baby, who unfortunately was found without vital signs by a cleaning worker at the site.
The baby, approximately five months gestational age, was abandoned inside a garbage bag, leading the judge to charge the mother with attempted homicide, considering that the child was in grave danger after being abandoned.
The identity of the mother has not been revealed, but she faces charges related to the abandonment of her child. This incident has generated significant social backlash, being compared to previous cases such as those of Diana "N" and Lucio "N".
Recently, on February 11, an 18-year-old was captured by security cameras abandoning his newborn in a plastic bag in Tultitlán. Fortunately, the baby was rescued in time by the police thanks to neighbors' alertness, receiving immediate medical attention at a hospital.
The discovery occurred when a cleaning employee found the baby while checking the accumulated waste in his cart in the community of San Pablo de las Salinas. After notifying local authorities, they arrived on the scene, cordoning off the area and initiating the relevant investigations.
The alleged perpetrator, a 17-year-old girl, was arrested shortly after the baby was abandoned. On the other hand, the baby's parents, Lucio "N" and Diana "N", aged 18 and 21 respectively, were linked to the process after a hearing held on February 21.
