The Attorney General's Office of the State of Quintana Roo confirmed the arrest of two more suspects in the murder of Argentine hairdresser Jonatan Emanuel Minucci in the Mexican city of Tulum. These are Hugo Daniel 'N', alias 'El Maniaco', and Cristian Eduardo 'N', who are said to be involved in the qualified murder of Minucci and another victim. This brings the total number of arrests in Minucci's case to four. Previously, Fernando Jonathan 'N' and Adán Osvaldo 'N' were apprehended. They are believed to be members of a local criminal gang linked to the hairdresser's shooting. According to Attorney General Raciel López Salazar, the crime is related to drug trafficking, as reported by the Argentine News Agency. 'Both are accused of the crimes of homicide and injuries registered at the Vesica Cenote Club. The motive for this aggression is drug trafficking and resulted in one death and two injured due to a dispute between two criminal groups,' the prosecutor stated. The prosecutor explained that the victims worked as security guards at the bar and that after the incident, they were taken to the IMSS-Bienestar hospital in Playa del Carmen, where the Argentine died. The incident occurred on January 9, when a group of hitmen on motorcycles burst into the establishment. According to police reports, the attackers fired several shots. In this context, Minucci suffered fatal shots to the face, neck, chest, and arms. He was urgently taken to a hospital, but doctors confirmed his death last Saturday in a Playa del Carmen hospital.
