The Health Caravan in Valle de Bravo offers free medical services and health promotion from November 11 to 15. It is expected to serve more than 5,100 residents.

The state program Caravana de Salud por el Bienestar has arrived in the municipality of Valle de Bravo in the State of Mexico with the aim of improving medical care in the communities of the southern region. The initiative, promoted by the Governor of the State of Mexico, Maestra Delfina Gómez Álvarez, aims to assist more than 5,100 inhabitants of Valle de Bravo and nearby localities by providing free medical services.

During the event, which will take place from November 11 to 15, vaccinations against influenza, COVID-19, tetanus, and pneumococcus will be carried out, as well as screenings for diseases such as dyslipidemia, hypertension, and diabetes. Health promotion activities, such as handwashing workshops and addiction prevention, will also be conducted with the goal of promoting health education in the community.

At the inauguration of the caravan, the state Secretary of Health, Macarena Montoya Olvera, emphasized the importance of prevention as the best strategy to avoid complications from various diseases. Functional supports were delivered and Cyber Police modules and adolescent pregnancy prevention workshops were set up, reflecting a comprehensive approach to community well-being.

The authorities of the State Health Institute of Mexico reiterated that medical care is a fundamental right and a shared commitment. The mobile units present at the caravan will offer medical consultations, X-rays, optometry, dental and veterinary care, seeking to ensure the diagnosis and prevention of diseases, as well as epidemiological monitoring.

"In the state government, our commitment is to serve with humanism and forge strong institutions that transform the lives of citizens," Montoya stated, summarizing the philosophy that guides the initiative "Serve to transform and transform to improve."
