After hours of anguish, five members of a shrimp boat were rescued last night, safe and sound, from the waters of Veracruz. The incident occurred as a result of a shipwreck, but thanks to the prompt intervention of the authorities, they were saved. The rescue was made possible by the maritime patrol carried out by agents from the Regional Center of Aeronautical Operations of the National Aeronaval Service (SENAN). During the surveillance operations, the agents spotted the sinking vessel and immediately launched the rescue operation. Using the BAP-3014 vessel, the five crew members were transferred to a safe port, where they received medical attention from paramedics to assess their health status.
