The Chivas team has had a streak of poor results dating back to previous seasons, where they have failed to achieve good performance in tournaments and have been eliminated in their recent outings. Despite this, the fans have started to express their discontent with the team's low performance.
In the recent first leg match in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, the head coach, Óscar García, attended a press conference following the draw suffered in the last minutes. It was at that moment that a supporter managed to enter to express his dissatisfaction with the team's performance to the coach. This act reflects the frustration of the fans regarding Chivas' recent results.
The fan emphatically conveyed a clear message on behalf of the supporters to the Spanish coach, indicating a decrease in the followers' patience due to the team's negative results. Although only six rounds have passed in the Clausura 2025 of Liga MX, there are already those demanding the departure of Óscar García.
While it is unknown how the supporter managed to access the press conference, he was allowed to ask some questions, which he did not end up posing. Later, the staff in charge of the press conference intervened to take the microphone away from the fan.
Regarding Óscar García's reaction, the coach listened to the fan's criticisms without offering a verbal response, limiting himself to nodding his head. García pointed to the defense and the management as responsible for the team’s defensive issues, in an attempt to justify the adverse results.
