Tecmilenio officially presented its new educational model MAPS (modular, stackable, and customizable) during the IFE Conference 2025. According to Rector Bruno Zepeda, this model responds to the demands of the labor market, promotes employability aligned with life purpose, and creates a comprehensive well-being ecosystem for students.
Zepeda emphasized that with MAPS, students not only obtain a degree upon graduation but also 28 certificates that support highly demanded technical and human competencies. The model allows them to tailor their training to their individual goals, choose their own learning path, and graduate with a unique professional profile.
The approach of this new educational model is based on the use of technological tools such as artificial intelligence. It provides students with personalized and scalable support that includes access to mentors, coaches, and digital platforms that facilitate self-directed learning.
"Our priority is the well-being and success of the student," emphasized Zepeda. Aiming to bridge the gap between traditional higher education and the current labor market needs, MAPS is based on certificates co-created with leading companies and industry experts.
