The Young People Building the Future program offers Mexican youths the opportunity to receive training in companies and businesses, as well as a monthly financial support. In February, Marath BolaƱos, head of the Ministry of Labor, announced that 110,000 young people have already started their training this year.
The call for new apprentices of the program will open on April 1, and interested individuals can stay tuned to the official networks and the website for more information and updates. To register, young people can access the program's website or visit any of the more than 4,300 mobile offices distributed in priority areas of the country.
A total of 500,000 new positions are expected to be opened in this call. Participants will receive a monthly payment equivalent to the minimum wage and will have access to IMSS medical insurance. Since its inception in 2019, the program has invested 136 billion pesos and has benefited more than 3 million young people, with 70% finding employment after completing their training.
The requirements to register for Young People Building the Future include being between 18 and 29 years old, not being employed or studying, having an official identification, CURP, recent proof of address, among other documents. The program is aimed at young people looking for job opportunities and who do not have access to higher education or formal employment.
