The Interactive Museum of Economics (MIDE) and Profuturo join forces to celebrate Global Money Week 2025, with the aim of strengthening financial education in the population and promoting the responsible use of digital platforms. Under the slogan 'Protect Your Money: Finances in the Digital Age,' from March 18 to 28, more than 100 free activities will take place focused on financial security and the responsible use of digital platforms.
Global Money Week is a global initiative promoted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which seeks to raise awareness of the importance of financial knowledge from an early age. In its thirteenth edition, special attention will be given to the challenges represented by online transactions, addressing issues such as fraud, identity theft, and misinformation.
In the Historic Center, conferences, workshops, and interactive activities will be held with the participation of more than 60 experts in personal and digital finance, designed to promote safe practices in handling financial information and responsible consumption in digital environments.
Silvia Singer, general director of MIDE, mentioned the importance of financial education and its impact on the sustainable development of society. 'During Global Money Week 2025, we emphasize the importance of the responsible use of money on digital platforms to strengthen the security and trust of users,' she added.
