The Ministry of Welfare has announced the payment schedule for the Welfare Pensions for the next two months of the year 2025, benefiting approximately 15 million people with an investment of 87,068.9 million pesos.
The new bimonthly period of Welfare Pensions began last Monday, March 3, as reported by Ariadna Montiel, head of the Ministry of Welfare. The main objective is to contribute to the well-being of older adults through the delivery of a non-contributory pension that improves their living conditions and provides access to social protection.
Payments are made by depositing money directly into the Welfare Bank cards of the beneficiaries, as detailed on the official Welfare Pension page. Additionally, it is highlighted that in Durango and Veracruz there will be a double payment due to the ongoing electoral processes in those states.
Regarding the payment schedule, it is structured according to the initial letter of the beneficiaries' first surname. Payment days are distributed as follows: from Monday, March 3, to Friday, March 7; subsequently from Monday, March 10, to Friday, March 14; continuing with specified dates during the following weeks until Thursday, March 27.
