LDR Solutions Targets 9000 Foton Units in 2025

LDR Solutions aims to market 9,000 units of the Foton Mexico brand across various segments to meet the demand of the Mexican market. During a conference, the general director of Foton Mexico, Francisco Chávez, indicated that in 2024 the brand sold 4,600 units and that the goal for this year is to double that figure.

Chávez mentioned that they are confident in achieving this, as 60% of projected sales will correspond to pick-up trucks and vans, a segment in which the brand offers a wide range of high-quality products. Sergio Meza has joined as the director of Pick-ups & Vans, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry to the company's pick-up division.

Raúl Téllez, CEO of LDR Solutions, highlighted a historical growth of 100% in the group's marketing. Téllez referred to market behavior in 2024 as an indicator of the work done so far. In the last year, the company sold around 800 buses nationwide and expects to increase these figures by 35-40% in 2025. Additionally, with the new range of pick-ups designed specifically for the Mexican market, they expect to have a strong impact on sales.

Téllez also announced a new stage for the company following the restructuring of its automotive segment, focusing on promoting electromobility and other innovative projects. Among these, he highlighted the construction of two new plants: one in Jalisco for the production of the Tunland model pick-up and another in Monterrey for the assembly of Class 7 and 8 trucks.
