Starting in 2025, students from public secondary schools in Guanajuato will receive bi-monthly financial support. The program will also benefit women with the Pension Well-being.


New financial support for students in Guanajuato

In 2025, the delivery of financial support to high school students in Guanajuato will begin. Each beneficiary will receive 1,900 pesos bimonthly, with an additional 700 pesos for each additional student.

The federal program for Women's Welfare Pension is still active in the state, achieving a 70% progress in registering more than 37 thousand beneficiaries to date. The Delegate of Welfare Programs, Alma Alcaraz Hernández, highlighted the importance of this initiative to improve the quality of life of women in Guanajuato, recognizing their work and contributing to their economic well-being.

The Women's Welfare Pension is part of the social programs implemented by the federal government, benefiting more than 1.2 million people in Guanajuato with an annual investment of 20 billion pesos. The Health Welfare Census has surveyed more than 100 thousand beneficiaries so far, aiming to identify the health needs of the population and ensure access to quality medical services.

Registration for the Rita Cetina Scholarship in Guanajuato is open until December 18, according to Alma Alcaraz, delegate of the Ministry of Welfare. Registration is done online and aims to benefit more students in the region.
