During Buen Fin 2024, banks in Mexico will offer prizes and bonuses of up to 50 thousand pesos to buyers who make their payments with credit and debit cards between November 15 and 18. The minimum rewards will be four thousand pesos, but refunds of five thousand to nine thousand pesos will also be given, or up to 15%, 20%, or 25% of the purchase amount. Additionally, options such as interest-free monthly payments, deferred charges, loyalty programs with double points, and discounts when signing up for financial products, such as auto insurance, will be provided.
Banks will also offer payment facilitation and special bonuses to those who make their purchases on electronic platforms such as Amazon, Mercado Libre, or PayPal. For example, BBVA will offer payments for purchases of 3,500 pesos or more with BBVA credit cards in a single installment, and start paying until March 2025, as well as bonuses and double points on purchases during Buen Fin.
Banco Azteca, for its part, offers instant gifts when requesting a Cash Loan and bonuses to customers who purchase with Azteca Card. BanCoppel will grant bonuses and interest-free months at participating merchants, while Banorte will provide various bonuses to those who pay with bank cards.
Citibanamex, HSBC, Scotiabank, and Santander will also have special promotions during Buen Fin, which include bonuses on purchases with interest-free months, discounts at participating merchants, and payment facilities. It is important to register for the corresponding promotions to access these bonuses and benefits during the shopping event.
