Idealease de México predicts 20% growth

The demand for vehicle leasing from Idealease Mexico could grow between 15 and 20 percent by 2025, depending on the evolution of the U.S. market and interest rates in both countries. This was highlighted by Fernando Noriega, general director of Idealease Mexico, who mentioned that the company has maintained a consistent annual growth of 10 percent. For the next year, they plan to continue expanding and operating the company, with an investment of 600 million pesos to acquire 800 new units for their fleet.

In Fernando Noriega's words, "If the U.S. market continues to grow, the transportation industry in our country will grow alongside it." According to data from the National Association of Bus, Truck, and Tractor Manufacturers (ANPACT), approximately 80 percent of the country already has UBA diesel coverage, facilitating the operation of the new units.

Regarding market outlook and economic projections, Idealease Mexico's general director emphasized that they are positive, especially with the decrease in interest rates in the U.S. and Mexico, which could boost an economic recovery beneficial for the transportation sector in Mexico. Of the new units, 200 will be state-of-the-art tractors, a segment that has strengthened in the domestic market, meeting the emission regulations that will come into effect in January 2025.

To face the challenges, Idealease Mexico is strengthening its infrastructure and training. With a network of 46 workshops across the country, the company ensures that its technicians are prepared for the new technological challenges that next-generation units require. Additionally, they are working to ensure the availability of specialized spare parts and the training of personnel.

Fernando Noriega also mentioned that adapting to new environmental regulations requires access to low-emission fuels, such as UBA diesel, and they are working closely with their clients to ensure this, especially in areas where coverage is more limited.
