Quetzali Sanai Pérez Hernández, a law student, was appointed as the president of this chapter.
The main objective of this alliance is to strengthen the professional, ethical, and leadership training of UIN students. The aim is to provide them with mentoring and tools to face labor, social, and business challenges in Mexico City.
In her first speech as president of the new university chapter, Quetzali Sanai Pérez Hernández, 21 years old, expressed her commitment to promoting student entrepreneurship and gender inclusion at UIN. She also announced the creation of a project for childcare university stays to support mothers in the student community.
Among the planned activities are organizing entrepreneurship fairs, conferences, and the provision of trained advisors to guide students in their projects. Adal Ortiz Ávalos, president of Coparmex CDMX, highlighted the importance of seeking a mentor and working with dedication and values in the professional field.
During the event held at the Tlalpan campus of UIN, various representatives were present, including Adriana Portilla Rendón, rector of Insurgentes University, as well as other presidents of university chapters. In Ortiz Ávalos's words, the creation and participation of university chapters is essential for boosting the creativity, drive, and faith of young people, who represent both the present and the future.
