
The Government of the State of Puebla will implement a security operation during Good End 2024 to ensure the protection of citizens. The initiative, which will take place from November 15 to 18, will involve the participation of more than 1,200 elements from the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), the National Guard, the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), and Municipal Police. The main objective is to reinforce surveillance in shopping centers, department stores, self-service establishments, and banking areas, allowing consumers to make their purchases safely and peacefully.
According to a study conducted by Appinio, 90% of Mexicans intend to participate in Good End. According to the research, 41% of respondents are clear about which products they wish to purchase during the event. The study also reveals that 73% of buyers are interested in electronic devices, followed by 60% looking for fashion items and 40% focused on cosmetics and personal care products.
Additionally, the Cyber Police has provided the number 222 213 8111 to offer advice on possible risks in online shopping. The SSP has urged the population to use the free "Banking Accompaniment" service by calling the emergency number 911 when making deposits or withdrawals. Furthermore, residents of Puebla are advised to take extra security measures during their in-store shopping to prevent crimes.
