Presentation of Mexico's 2025 Economic Package

The economic package for 2025 presented by Rogelio Ramírez de la O details the obtaining and spending of public resources by the government, including the General Criteria for Economic Policy, the Initiative for the Federal Revenue Law, and the Project for the Federal Expenditure Budget. These documents are made available to Congress for discussion and approval.

In the document of General Criteria for Economic Policy of the PEF 2025, there are estimates of the economic policy for the next year, including the evolution of the Mexican economy, economic growth forecasts, inflation, deficit, exchange rate, interest rate, and oil barrel price.

A month and a half after taking office, the government of Claudia Sheinbaum presents the 2025 economic package, marking one of the first key dates in her term. Sheinbaum has announced a reduction in the deficit and savings in some sectors, maintaining social programs, and allocating resources for education and health.

The Secretary of Finance, Rogelio Ramírez de la O, submitted the Federal Expenditure Budget for 2025 to Congress and then presented it to the media. He highlighted that the economic package responds to investors' concerns about the high fiscal deficit, promising a reduction while maintaining investment in infrastructure and social spending.
