The controversy between Hillman Eyewear and Anahí has reached an agreement. Adrian Garza, representing the eyewear brand, accused Pablo Ahumada, the singer's representative, of being defrauded in a collaboration that did not meet expectations. Garza mentioned that Hillman Eyewear invested 100% in the project and pointed out that the celebrities promised eyewear from the collection, such as Bad Bunny, Anitta, and Karol G, never received the product.
In response, Anahí issued a statement through her Instagram stories, explaining that she received the proposal to collaborate with Hillman at the beginning of last year. She stated that the list of personalities to whom the collection was sent as part of public relations was delivered and that they are free to decide if they want to promote the product. Anahí emphasized that everything was transparent on her side.
After Garza's accusations, it was finally announced that they reached an agreement. Garza mentioned in a video that the relationship with Anahí is now better than ever and that the confusions have been clarified. He pointed out that the collaboration is still ongoing and that he will comply with the terms of the current contract, which has a duration of 12 months and is still in its early stages.
Amid the controversy, Anahí clarified that she has no representative and disassociates herself from any commitments made by third-party artists. She also mentioned that she supported the collaboration with Hillman Eyewear with her image and presence on social media. Meanwhile, Pablo Ahumada, Anahí's representative, denied Hillman Eyewear's accusations on his own social media, stating that it was never promised that certain people would wear the eyewear collection. The situation seems to have reached a resolution, with both parties trying to put the controversy behind them and continue with their respective projects.
