It is expected that in the coming weeks the president will report on the budget increase for 2025.

Among the new social programs, the Rita Cetina Scholarship stands out, which registration began on November 11. The Ministry of Finance has requested a budget of 78,840 million pesos for this program in 2025. In the case of the Rita Cetina Scholarship, a support of 1,900 pesos will be granted bimonthly to each family, with an additional 700 pesos for each additional child. In her message, Sheinbaum mentioned that there will also be savings in important matters.

Since the Fourth Transformation, efforts have been made to elevate social supports to constitutional rank, ensuring their continuity in future administrations unless a constitutional reform is enacted.

Regarding the Welfare Pension for the elderly, 487,427 million pesos will be allocated in 2025 to provide support of 6,000 pesos every two months to this sector of the population.
