Nuevo León Governor Commits to 2025 Budget

Less than a week before the deadline to submit the 2025 Budget, Governor Samuel García committed to presenting the Fiscal Package to the State Congress so that "we can all do better." During the celebration of Public Servant Day, García called for consensus among the powers, highlighting the importance of unity and correction of errors to move forward together.

In his speech, the governor expressed his commitment to work together with Congress to achieve a budget that benefits Nuevo León, mentioning the construction of elementary schools, agreements, scholarships, and improvements in benefits. He emphasized the importance of providing quality public services to the 6 million inhabitants of the state, highlighting the relevance of the work of public servants in the community.

During the celebration, the General Secretary of SUSPE, Ricardo Cavazos Balderas, highlighted the achievements obtained for unionized personnel, such as salary and bonus increases, as well as the expansion of licenses and benefits for retired and pensioned staff. He acknowledged the effort of the union and thanked the authorities for supporting these improvements.

As part of the commemoration, the governor awarded medals to public servants who completed 20 years of uninterrupted service. In the 2024 Annual Informative Assembly of SUSPE, the governor highlighted the importance of the work of public servants and their contribution to the community. He underscored the creation of projects like the elementary school and reiterated his commitment to work for the benefit of Nuevo León and its people.
