In recent months, maintenance and rehabilitation work has been carried out on 396 official stops of the Integrated Transport System (SIT). These actions have included painting, replacement of signage, and cleaning, as well as improvements in key stations and bike parks.
As part of this work, the focus has been on the rehabilitation of strategic stops on the trunk lines of the SIT during the first months of 2025. General painting, maintenance of columns, ticket booths, glass frames, access doors, handrails, and signage have been prioritized at stops such as Parque Hidalgo, IMSS T1, Insurgentes, Poliforum, and Apolo. Additionally, an intervention was conducted at the San Juan Bosco station where painting was applied to a surface area of 1,941 square meters, also marking parking spaces and roadways for Inclusive Urban Transport.
As part of the improvement in mobility infrastructure, maintenance and rehabilitation have been provided for 8 bike parks located in transfer terminals and public spaces. This ensures that bicycle users have safe and functional infrastructure for their use.
The General Directorate of Mobility carries out this maintenance periodically with the aim of guaranteeing safer, more efficient, and accessible spaces for all citizens.
