Separately, Pemex issued a statement confirming the incident in the coke warehouse at the Olmeca Refinery, stating that all local emergency services acted immediately to contain the fire. The state-owned company later reported that the fire was extinguished and the emergency is fully under control, highlighting the participation of specialized personnel to manage the situation. "The fire is located exclusively in a coke storage area and is under control," the Pemex director and the Olmeca refinery manager informed her. "No injuries have been reported so far," the president added.
