After the Easter holiday period, no incidents or significant issues have been reported on the roads in Nuevo León, the state Civil Protection reported. Personnel from the agency are conducting preventive patrols and monitoring at strategic points in the entity to monitor weather conditions and the state of the roads, with the return of Nuevo León residents to their places of origin. The operations are mainly concentrated in three zones: U.02: West zones, specifically at the toll booth on Saltillo Highway. U.11: South zone, on National Highway, at the height of El Uro and Los Rodríguez. U.05: Reynosa Highway, at the Guadalupe toll booth. To date, Nuevo León Civil Protection units have not reported any news or situations that pose a risk to drivers. Recommendations for road travel The agency urged drivers to exercise extreme caution and follow these measures: Always wear a seatbelt. Check the mechanical condition of the vehicle before leaving. Respect the established speed limits. Do not use a cell phone while driving. In case of any emergency, citizens can request support from Civil Protection Nuevo León units U.02, U.05, and U.119. The spring vacation period began on March 30 and concluded on April 10. The return to school is scheduled for this Monday, April 13.
