In a call to the majority, the congressional leader urged practicing what is preached if unity is sought. He reminded that 54% voted for the official parties, meaning that the remaining 46% did not, questioning the legitimacy of the decisions made. He emphasized the need for unity through dialogue, political diversity, and mutual respect, prioritizing the welfare of the homeland and Mexico.
Rubén Moreira rejected the claims of the Morena deputy Sergio Gutiérrez Luna, who branded opposition legislators as traitors for not supporting government policy. Moreira pointed out that the difficult moments Mexico is experiencing are partly caused by Morena and that it is unacceptable to resort to disqualification instead of promoting unity in the chamber. He acknowledged past mistakes and advocated for dialogue as a tool to face future challenges.
