Sentence for femicide in the State of Mexico

After almost a year since the case of Fofo Márquez and the assault on a woman became known, on Friday, January 24, a judge from the State of Mexico found Rodolfo 'N' guilty of attempted femicide based on the Penal Code of that state.

The victim expressed happiness at the ruling, but some people, including loved ones of the content creator, suggested that the case was heavily influenced by media coverage. Now, the sentencing for Fofo Márquez is awaited, and questions arise about how the influencer reacted upon learning he would spend more time in prison.

Recently, a recording of just over 19 minutes from YouTuber Maurg1 became popular on YouTube, in which he provides a summary of the Fofo Márquez case. In the video, Maurg1 shows one of the reactions captured on camera of Fofo Márquez embracing his brother Rodrigo after learning the judge's ruling.

In Maurg1's words, it is noted that Fofo Márquez's sentence could be from 13 to 46 years in prison and not 22 as indicated by the media.
