Legislative Agenda Unveiled by PVEM Leaders in Mexico

At a press conference, leaders and legislators of the Green Party of Mexico highlighted their support for the country's president and presented their legislative agenda for the State of Mexico, focused on social and environmental issues.

The state leader of the PVEM in the State of Mexico, José Alberto Couttolenc, accompanied by Senator Manuel Velasco and Federal Deputy Javier Herrera, mentioned the importance of working as a team instead of dividing. Couttolenc emphasized that it is essential to provide greater support for the demands of young people and the Mexican countryside.

At the conference, the party's commitment to gender equality and effective governance in the municipalities it leads was highlighted, positioning itself as the second in the number of mayoralties in the State of Mexico. The state leader emphasized the need to achieve satisfactory results for citizens.

Deputy Javier Herrera praised the work of local legislators and assured that they will have the support of the national executive committee in their proposals. Couttolenc expressed the state’s willingness to back these initiatives.

Regarding migration, the creation of a Migrant Assistance Law for the State of Mexico was proposed, a regulation considered urgent due to its absence in the entity so far.

State representatives presented the five main axes of their legislative agenda, with special emphasis on environmental conservation. Among the announced initiatives is the creation of shelters to support the presidential program "Mexico Embraces You," considered a priority for the federal president. The legislative agenda also seeks to support entrepreneurs, boost the local economy, and promote agricultural development that respects the environment.

Finally, the legislative proposal highlights the transformation of waste into energy, ensuring sufficient and quality water, as well as promoting sustainable and safe mobility, with the primary goal of supporting the president of the country and working in favor of Mexico.
