In response to journalists, Shimbaum noted that it is necessary to ensure fairness and transparency in the process of search requests on the internet: "We will be writing a letter to Google, so that they explain how and why they are changing the search algorithm and what the consequences will be."
According to the head of Mexico, she regards this action very seriously and considers it important to protect search practices in the interests of all.
