The Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection stated before lawmakers from Morena that the authorities have the responsibility to combat all criminal organizations. During his intervention at the plenary meeting, he emphasized that there will be no dialogue with these organizations, as this strategy always fails.
He highlighted the progress in security during his management, mentioning the detention of more than 10,000 people for high-impact crimes and the seizure of over 90 tons of drugs. Additionally, more than 5,000 firearms and armored vehicles have been confiscated.
The Secretary pointed out that criminal organizations are the main generators of violence in the country, corrupting authorities and affecting youth and children. He called on society to collaborate with authorities by reporting criminal activities, stressing that citizen participation is crucial to achieving an effective strategy against organized crime and ensuring peace in communities.
The security strategy is based on coordination between institutions such as the National Guard, combining force and intelligence to weaken criminal structures and secure peace in the country. He emphasized that the authorities' duty is to firmly combat criminal organizations while always respecting human rights.
"Any type of dialogue with criminal organizations is an illusion," reiterated the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, emphasizing that this strategy always goes wrong.
