The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Morelos reported that, while executing an arrest warrant against Dionicio Emanuel Álvarez Anonales, former director of the Tequesquitengo Lake Trust, human remains and ritual objects were found in his home.

According to the statement from the Attorney General's Office of the State of Morelos, the action was carried out on Wednesday, March 12, as part of an investigation into corruption. During the operation, an armed man was arrested who claimed to be escorting the former official.

In the inspected property, authorities discovered human remains and blood traces in a laundry area, which led to requesting the intervention of Forensic Services and the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Forced Disappearance of Persons of the Attorney General of Morelos.

In light of this finding, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has opened a new investigation to determine possible additional crimes, while continuing actions to fulfill the arrest warrant against Álvarez Anonales.

The agency emphasized that the procedure was conducted respecting the human rights of the implicated individual and without the use of violence, as well as reminding the principle of the presumption of innocence established in the Constitution.

In a video circulating on social media, a room is seen where crucifixes were found in wooden containers, machetes, candles, and other ritual objects. On the floor, red stains, blood drops, bones, and other possible human remains were identified, as well as elements linked to practices that could be used to inflict torture.
