The Government of Jalisco has enabled a new portal for users to download or reprint their free vehicle verification coupon quickly and easily. Through the page, vehicle owners only need to enter the following data:
- License plate number - The last five digits of the serial number - Their first and last name - Engine number to obtain the document.
The State Government has also reminded drivers to carry out vehicle verification and plate replacement, which are mandatory procedures in Jalisco and are part of the "3x1 Package," which allows access to these benefits with a payment of 900.00 pesos for vehicle registration.
In March, the replacement is available for vehicles with license plates ending in 1 and 2, while vehicle verification corresponds to plates ending in 2 and 3. To schedule a verification appointment, you must enter the corresponding site.
It is important to remember that, before making the plate change, the vehicle must go through the verification process, whether or not it passes the procedure. Users who have not yet made the plate change to their vehicles must present the following documents on the day of their appointment at the collector's office they selected on the portal:
- Original invoice or certified copy of the vehicle - License plates - Proof of address (not older than 90 days) - Payment of registration - Valid official identification - Vehicle verification receipt, approved or not approved
Remember that by 2026 all vehicles in Jalisco must have the "Collage" or "Cabañas" plates, which were designed with a QR code in the upper right corner.
